My digipak poster needed to create an identity that links to my music video. For example Sia had a girl dancing in her video with a blonde bob, she then replicated this by putting the blonde bob onto her album cover to create a sense of identity. In order to do this I represented the love story into the digipak. I did this by putting the two actors on the digipak and when then fold it looks as if they are looking at each other. Furthermore I faded the locations that I used in the music video into the background- the repetition helps with creating a persona of the album.

We developed our editing techniques. In the music videos we researched we related that editing on the beat made the music video more refined and made more of an impact. We then replicated this by editing the beat too of our song. However we then continued to also change cuts when the artists vocals changed, other instruments where played or when there was a big build up. We did this to add more impact.

We had lots of locations that we were going to use for our video. However we only used 6 locations including major and minor locations. This is considerably more locations that most music videos. For example most videos only have 3 like Justin Timberlake-- Mirrors. This is because of it becoming too complicated however we felt that we built up the locations so that it didn't become too crowded and we merged them slowly which made it more structured.

We made a 30 cut chorus which is creating one second shots for each second that the beat was on. This meant that we practised cutting long shots down into short clips. This helped us with learning editing techniques. We developed this in our music video as we used this editing technique. We then made even quicker. We did this because the beat was faster than one second so it couldt be one second for one shot. For instance on the build of the song two or even three shots had to appear in one second to keep up with the beat of the song.
