My video uses Goodwins theory. This is due to the link between the lyric and the visuals. For example the narrative of our video is about a man "loosing it tonight" because of his love. When he sings about "all the things i've loved" the girl he likes is shown on the train. Another example when I haven't used the actors is when the lyrics are "I woke up with the sun" and the sun is shown to be shining in the sky. The visuals have therefore reinforced the lyrics. This is displayed throughout the video.

My video also supports the Carol Vernallis theory as the performance and the narrative do not balance. This is because we have more narrative being shown than performance. However generally her theory states that performance takes prominence because it needs to show off the artist/artists. Furthermore she states that the narrative does not have to be a distinct end. It can be shown as a fragment of the story, which is what our video is- an era of a love story. We also used her editing theory. We used lots of jump cuts to speed the music video up as its only around 3-4 minutes long. In addition due to it being a pop music video its a quick pace song so it helps creates a fast rhythm which compliments the song. Using the camera to move in time with the song helps with the rhythm we did this by spinning the camera around in a circle in the beginning to bring the camera immediately in with the right rhythm.

The genre of our music video is pop rock. This genre usually includes narrative and performance. Pop songs are normally artists singing about love such as Justin Bieber and Zara Lasson and therefore have love stories in them which is what we included in ours as its about two people in love. As it is also a rock genre too we included more performance than a normal pop video. We did this by adding the artist lip syncing.

Our logo from ur researched we used. The repetition of logos is essential for attracting the audience, Fetty Wap does this for his logos on all of his albums and on social media. We did this on our digipak and digipak poster. Creating an identity in your logo was essential to as it can be referred back to the artist.

The fashion was to be as modern as possible to keep up with the trends as this relates to the audience. This also creates an illusion of the importance of who the artist is. For example Toni Romiti keeps up to date with trends of fashion and looks her best in front of the public. This is why we kept our artist in fashionable clothing in the music video.

Showing the audience your importance again can be done by professional photoshoots which can be put on digipak and digipak poster which is what we did to our actors in the music video for the artist.

We used the conventions of a typical pop music video which has a variation of performance and narrative. For example Scouting for girls- She's so lovely. Although there is not a define balance between them in ours we still managed to get a good amount of narrative and performance.
